Install the Windows app
Ordinary customers should not install Python, Git or Tampermonkey to use the supported desk, account and analytics product.
Supported path: run
SnipeClub-Setup.exe (per-user, no admin) or unzip the portable build, then double-click SnipeClub.exe. No Python, Git or Tampermonkey.Unsigned pre-release. Installer and desktop launch are tested separately from live EA trades, which remain unverified. Public website accounts do not activate a desktop licence yet. Paper features work locally.
Check downloads against the SHA-256 checksums. Read the third-party notices.
1. Desktop account status
- Register (after the desk is running, or on a hosted site when deployed).
- Verify email via the link in your inbox — or, in local sandbox without SMTP, open the captured mail file under
%LOCALAPPDATA%\FCTradingDesk\data\mail. - On Account, acknowledge EA risk and click View trial availability.
2. Install the desk (no Python)
- Preferred: download
SnipeClub-Setup.exeand run it (installs to%LOCALAPPDATA%\FCTradingDesk\app). - Or portable: download
SnipeClub-windows-portable.zip(not published), unzip to a permanent folder, double-clickSnipeClub.exe. - Keep the console window open while you use the product. Your browser opens the desk.
- Data lives in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\FCTradingDesk\data(survives updates and uninstall of the app files).
Updates: quit the desk, run the newer Setup.exe (or replace the portable folder). Settings stay in the data folder. There is no automatic silent updater yet.
3. Optional browser worker (advanced)
EA rules. The Chrome/Edge extension loads MagicBuyer-derived automation into the EA Web App. That violates EA rules and can ban accounts. It is not required for paper trading, diagnostics viewing, performance accounting or account management. Sideload only if you accept the risk; Chrome Web Store listing is not available.
- Download extension zip.
- Chrome → Extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked.
- Pair with the desk token after Pro trial/subscription.
Developers only
start-windows.bat remains for source builds. Customers should use the packaged exe above.
